Vintage Milk Glass Basket Tiara Collection Indiana Glass Constellation Pattern

This lovely milk glass basket was made by Indiana Glass in the 1970s. Part of the Tiara Collection, the pattern is called Constellation. A slender four-pointed star design is impressed in square panels all around the exterior of the square basket. The rim of the basket is gently scalloped, and the corners are rounded and turned out. The handle is applied and features a hobnail floral pattern at the point where the handle joins the basket. The bottom of the basket features a classic starburst design.

The milk glass is thick and heavy. The basket is approximately 7-1/2" tall and is 6" square. The circular footed base is approximately 3-5/8" in diameter. This beautiful basket is in excellent condition -- no chips, no cracks, no flea bites! Perfect for an end table, fabulous as a bridal basket, lovely as a center piece -- or simply a beautiful addition to any milk glass collection.
