Full Job Description

Responsible for developing and maintain strong customer relationships resulting in heavy equipment sales and rentals.  This is a commissioned sales position with a six figure income potential.

• Must be able to understand and explain technical and sales information
• Maintain positive customer relations
• Will solicit, persuade and negotiate with customers and maximize sales in assigned territory
• Other Duties as assigned

Job Specifications

Reports to: Sales Manager

Education Required: High School Diploma required, degree a plus.

Experience

Must have two years prior sales experience with some background in Agriculture or Industrial Background.  Familiarity with assigned equipment market and its uses and industry needs a plus, but not required.  A strong mechanical aptitude combined with exceptional interpersonal skills will help in overcoming a lack of industry sales knowledge.

Other Requirements:

• Must have minimum of 4+ years of stable work experience.
• Must have heavy construction equipment or like sales experience.
• Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and good overall computer skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must be a proficient communicator.
• Must be able to make sound judgments based on available facts.
• Must possess professional demeanor.
• Must have a mechanical aptitude
• Must be self driven and have an entrepreneur spirit.
• Must have a proven track record that demonstrated availability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and increase sales.
• Must be goal driven and focus on results.
