The Phillips County Sheriff's Department, Phillipsburg KS is seeking applicants for the position(s) of Full/Part-Time Dispatchers.  This challenging, fast-paced work requires quick thinking, problem solving abilities, and excellent public relation skills.

Primary duties include: receiving citizen's requests for services of public safety units; dispatching public safety units to respond to calls; maintaining records, typing dictated reports; ability to understand and work with complex radio, telephone, and computer networks.

The Communications Center is a 24-hour facility and applicants must be able to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts. Mandatory overtime is required on an as needed basis.
