This is a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 it has 229,xxx miles. I am selling it because I don't have the time or money to fix it at the moment. Truck has been garaged.Interior is in excellent shape The Bad: The transmission lost third and fourth gear. It acts funny and tops out at 30-35mph and I priced a good used transmission for it for $550.The dent on the driver side rear cab is from a deer and that's why the front trim around the headlight is broken as well. Replaced the headlight. The Deers head hit the headlight and it spun and the rear end hit the cab. Has rust from the previous owner in the bed corners.Has the very common passenger side head gasket leak that goes down on the starter and exhaust but does not effect the engine and the engine runs great. Recently I just bought the kit and the bolts to replace but haven't gotten to it and that will go with the pick up. It throws a check engine light every now and then and that is because my driver side exhaust manifold the collector flange bolt broke and the 02 sensor reads more oxygen than it should. I bought Pacesetter short tube headers to cure that but didn't get to that but they are still new in the box and will go with the pickup for $200 more.THINGS IVE DONE TO IT:Replaced transfer case seal and fluidReplaced u jointsReplaced the rear axle gear oilNew front brakes new alternator and pulleys, Has APS steps on itDue for an oil change now and it comes with 2 oil filters.Bought brand new wheels for it a week ago they are new in the box and will go with the truck for $300 more. 620-640-6769
