Shop built self contained pulling chute to help assist with easier calving. I built a chute a few years ago to see how it would work with our operation and so far it has worked great. It has been safe and reliable for us when we have needed it. I decided to build another that is a lot heavier and has a few more options to use in different situations. It has four gates all which open. Back gates close behind cow and open to allow walk thru to outside of unit. Front large gates open outwards in case of cow going down. Front gates also have a flip up door that would allow you to get a calf and help assist with feeding or milking. All doors are sheeted part way to prevent cows legs from getting caught and protection of yourself. This unit does not have a headgate yet because I am still waiting for delivery of it. This unit is priced without headgate. We have used filson headgates but probably can work with other manufacturers.
