Vintage Circa 1965 CERAMIC HAND PAINTED (very fancy) DUNCAN MEDIEVAL RENAISSANCE  32 pc CHESS SET

In the mid 1960’s, Duncan Games produced molds to make your own ceramic chess pieces.  These were crafted from those molds and then handpainted & glazed by what appears to be a very talented artist.  The paint and glaze is perfect, with no imperfections.  The pieces are in very good condition.  32 pieces, 16 in each color palate.  The pieces range from 2.75" - 4” tall.  They range from 1 1/4" - 1 3/8" in diameter at the base.  All bisque is fired to cone 04.  They are hollow ceramic, with weighted feet to prevent easy tipping over.  The pieces do not come with a chess board. My camera does not show these pieces well, but these are truly beatiful .Look online at ebay for a better idea of the fully painted versions
