The Jayhawk Retriever Club (based in South Central KS, Wichita, & surrounding areas) is seeking new retriever club members.

Our whole purpose is to help people train and promote their retrievers to be better at what they do naturally – retrieve.

Whatever level you’re interested in – having a good, obedient, under control hunting dog in the marsh / field or having a

great performer / contender in AKC Hunt Tests and Field Trials,  we have a place for you at the  Jayhawk Retriever Club.

Throughout the spring and summer we have training sessions, fun events, and occasionally a club picnic.

Training sessions are adjusted to meet all needs and levels of dogs & handlers – beginner through advanced.

Each year our club hosts an AKC Retriever Hunt Test and is hoping to return to hosting AKC Field Trials in the future if enough interest exists.

No annual fees or dues required for club membership.

However, members are requested to help volunteer time & effort working at our annual, club hosted AKC Field Event(s).

Membership Requirements include:

                Owning a retriever breed dog (Goldens, Chesapeakes, Flat Coats, Labradors,  & etc.).

                Desire to get together with other people who have common interests in advancing & improving their dog’s retrieving work.

                Just want to get out and have fun with your retriever.
