We are “building up” area 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, who are invited to join in the activities of “Jenga Me” offered at the WaKeeney United Methodist Church May 23rd- 27th from 4:00 to 5:00, followed by a meal for the children from 5:00 to 5:30.  (Children are invited to remain for the community Vacation Bible School which follows from 5:30 to 7:00, but are not required!)

Interactive activities and games to build children’s self-esteem, enhance socialization skills, and encourage healthy lifestyles and choices will be enjoyed by participants. To support the children, this program includes brief parent participation at the close of each class. There is no cost to attend, and children will receive the book, Jenga Day. Clinical therapist, Laurita Burbach, will facilitate this interactive program that is sponsored by the Heartland Community Foundation, Prairie Faith Parish Nurse Ministry, and Soaring Hawk Life Skills.
