I have an 89 GMC Vandura 1500 with a 4.3l V6 TBI motor and a 3 speed plus overdrive manual transmission. I was told by a mechanic that it is a race transmission. It is not running right now, I parked it over the winter and it would not fire in the spring. I spoke with a mechanic who advised me to buy a whole new distributor and it should run correctly. Other than that and a throw out bearing in the transmission it should be mechanically sound. It has a new thermostat and water pump in it as well. It has a 3 inch lift and Baja lights on the roof. My plan was to make it into an A-team van but lost interest. It is rhino lined all the way around the bottom and red on the top. I have the title, however some numbers on the vin are not readable.
