There are many antique sewing machines for sale, but few are this old, this rare and so well-maintained. You could use it today and it would work just like it did almost 150 years ago. Our preliminary research shows its provenance to be pre-1870s, perhaps made as early as 1866.

The wood on it is either birch or maple, it comes with several accessory keys, and it has the ID ILIONNY on its pedal.
