Up for sale is a 1979 Honda CX500 Custom. The bike was slowly being converted into a Cafe Racer. Has a Mac 2- into -1 exhaust, pod filters, mini turn signals, aftermarket headlight, new spark plugs, new radiator fan, and fresh oil and filter. I also have brand new mirrors, brake and clutch handles, and all new electric controls for handle bars that have not been installed yet. I also have a Clymer's repair manual that goes with it. Runs but overheats. I think it's just the thermostat and I have one from a donor bike I just haven't had time to really look at it. Doesn't like to idle but starts up every time without issue. I have a clean title in hand. If you don't mind putting a little work into it it'd be a great bike. I'm asking $1200 obo. I'm willing to negotiate as I no longer have room for it and need this bike gone asap. Thanks.
