I have Prairie bales that are around 60 pounds heavy and have a little bit of alfalfa in them. I have Alfalfa bales that are about 85 pound bales. Straw is about 40-50 pound bales that are baled with conventional rather then rotary so the straw isn't torn up. Brome is around 60 pounds heavy.
