Machinery Operator and Mechanic Wanted

Who We Are:

We are a multi-generational family farm operating in Sumner County, Kansas and the surrounding area.  We are primarily dryland, but also run some center pivot irrigation.

What We Do:

We are all crops and no critters; primarily raising wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, and canola.  In addition, we operate a custom application business specializing in lime and fertilizer applications.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter who takes pride in running nice machinery and isn’t afraid to work on it as needed.  Individual must be able to thrive in a team setting and add to strong company culture.  This person must be able to represent themselves and the company well on all occasions.

Applicant must be able to operate very large farm machinery, construction equipment, custom application equipment, and manual transmission semi-trucks.  Individual must have or be able to get a Class A CDL. 

This position will require you to routinely lift 50 lbs or more on occasion.  Applicant must be able to work outside in all seasons.  Individual must be willing to work long hours seasonally – including early mornings, nights, and/or weekends.  However, outside of the busiest of seasons, this position can be somewhat flexible.

Compensation:

Compensation will be based on experience & qualifications.
