Shuttle Bus Driver, Motor Pool

Shuttle Bus Driver, Fort Hays State University Motor Pool.  Weekend shift available.  There are no benefits with this position.

Friday:  3 PM till midnight

Saturday:  4:30 PM till midnight

Sunday:  6:00 PM till 11 PM

Minimum Requirements:  Current driver’s license with no traffic offenses for past 5 years.

Tasks:  Driving one of two, 14-passenger university shuttle buses.  Transporting students, faculty, staff and visitors to and from various pickup points throughout campus.  Assisting passengers as needed when loading and unloading, may require the use of a wheelchair lift.  Perform pre-operational checks, cleaning litter from interior, and washing the exterior of the bus as needed.

Approximate dates of employment:  August 18 – December 16, 2016; January 15 – May 13, 2017; August 17 – December 15, 2017; January 14 – May 12, 2018.

Salary:  $10.15/hour, plus $0.30/hour shift differential where applicable.
