High percentage of Red Angus bulls for sale.  We have bulls  for $1,800.00 and up, depending on age and confirmation.  They are 18 to 30 months old, with complete health papers.  The following is printed with permission from Johann Zietsman from his book, Man, Cattle, and Veld -  A cowman will tell you that the most important determinant of cow fertility is body condition.  The scientist improves body condition with expensive feed.  The cowman knows that there are individual cows with the genetic ability to maintain body condition, enabling them to calve annually without expensive feed.  Who has the greatest knowledge; the scientist or the herdsman?  Each environment requires a certain genotype in order to maximize productivity.  The more varied the genotypes need to be.  This is particularly true of an important trait such as fertility which is largely determined by body condition.     The smaller and heavier the better.  There is a relationship between size, growth rate, grass intake, maturity rate, body condition and efficiency of feed conversion, that is essential to understand.  Ignorance of this relationship has led to the breeding of cattle that require higher levels of nutrition in order to be "productive".   The human mind is like a parachute;  it only functions when open.            Call G.W.
