RN – Outpatient Services/Specialty Clinic Coordinator

NORTON COUNTY HOSPITAL has a full-time position available for a RN to join our healthcare team.  Some of the duties for this position would include:

• Coordinate schedules and train nursing staff for specialty clinics.
• Work directly with specialty clinic providers and their support staff to assure efficient clinic flow and patient satisfaction.
• Broaden the types of specialists available on site to meet patient needs.
• Participate in quality projects and reporting.
• Assist with scheduling referrals, prior authorizations, and answer medical questions for scheduling department.
• In addition to working in the specialty clinics, will also help in recovery room, other outpatient services and the acute care floor as needed.
• The majority of this position’s duties will be Monday-Friday.
