Description

I have two black females labradors for sale. The litter is register with AKC but the new owner will have to register them individually. I have the paperwork from AKC, lineage, and health documents ready. They came from a litter of 10 and now only two are available.

The sire is a great hunting dog (yellow) the owner is my brother. He does well at retrieving and pointing. He has done really well with pheasants, and not scared to jump in a pond after a down bird. He loves to hunt and will go until his paws are red. There is no off switch when it comes to birds or a game of fetch with him.

The dame is more of a family dog. She loves off lease running and hiking. She likes to explore but as soon as she cannot see me she comes back. She has a lot of patience and great temperament too the point where I can balance a baby chicken on her head. I've never had trained her to hunt but took her out to North Dakota for pheasant hunting. She followed Buck (the sire) as he zig zag through the cat tails and tree rows but eventually just followed me throughout the hunt. I believe she could hunt if I had trained her to.

Now the two available have somewhat different personalities. One with a black collar likes to explore and on a few occasions, I saw her point at our houses' ducks. The brown collar female is quite the lover and wants to lay on your lap or right next to you. Give her some time and she is off exploring and picking up your shoes.

Since the pups were 3 weeks of age, I have exposed them to loud noise such as power tools and vacuums. At 4 weeks I started to spend time with each pup individually for 10 to 20 minutes a day and moved up to 30 to 45 minutes at 7 weeks. They have been on a road trip to Iowa (7 hours) and done well. They have been played with and held by several children and adults. They also do well playing with other fully vaccinated dogs.

The vet has given all of the litter a clean bill of health. They have been dewormed twice, dew claws removed, and vaccinations were given at 6 weeks. They are fully weaned and are eating dry dog food. They are somewhat trained on potty pads.

These are some great pups and .I hope they will find a good home. If interested, please email me your phone number so we may discuss this via phone.

Thank you.
