Meet Stormtrooper, or Storm for short.  Storm is a former rescue horse who has been living with us for a couple years.  My cousin rescued him in Garden City and fattened him up and we've continued to take care of him.  15 hands-ish.  Not very quick to trust but once you earn his trust he'll let you get close.  How broke is he?  As an example, he likes to roll around on the ground and get burrs in his mane.  He wouldn't let me get near him with clippers but I gave him a mane cut with scissors.  He is jumpy when it comes to certain things like you trying to pet his face but he doesn't flinch at my goofy dog running around or bunnies or anything like that.  When we had his teeth floated last year vet said she thought he was 5-6 years old.  He's strong and beautiful and bored.  He needs more purpose in his life than being a pasture mate for my daughter's mare.  If you're interested I'll need a couple references as I won't let him go to just anywhere.  Hopefully this layman's description explains enough but if you have questions just ask.  Thanks.
