Nex-Tech is seeking a Construction Assistant to operate digging, trenching and cable installation equipment and perform manual work to complete work orders, troubleshoot and repair buried and aerial plant and maintain right-of-way.  Duties also include routine maintenance of construction equipment.   Summer and winter work conditions.

Requirements:  High school diploma or the equivalent and three months of construction experience working with heavy equipment.  Prior telecommunications experience beneficial.  Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain a CDL within 60 days of employment.  Must be able to meet physical requirements listed on the job description.
