Hays Area Children's Center (HACC) is a KDHE licensed child care facility with child care openings available starting May 22, 2017 for School-Aged children in Kindergarten through 4th grade. We are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We have partial week options available. This program runs through August 4, 2017.

We are located at 94 Lewis Drive on the edge of the FHSU campus.

Hays Area Children’s Center offers a structured learning environment and educational activities to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten. HACC support staff includes a Registered Nurse, Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, Physical Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist, and Occupational Therapist who are excellent resources for our child care staff. We also provide nutritious meals for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack that follow guidelines from the State of Kansas food program, CACFP. HACC has a large, secure, outdoor play area, and organizes educational field trips.

All staff are certified in CPR/First Aid and have completed required KDHE licensing courses. Lead teachers have additional certifications in Child Development.
