                                This is a used item in fair - poor condition considering the age. Could use a good cleaning, the ink bottles do have chips and one lid is missing. The bottle with the lid is in better condition the lid just pulls off, I did not notice any chips but does have roughness on bottom so that could be a chip. The other bottle  the rim is chipped badly and corners. The measurements is missing some of it's numbers and markings on the scale. Has one drawer and I think the slots on the front are to hold pens.  The Gem postal scale is a great piece of history. The item is in fair to poor condition but still great for collectors. There is one photo that does show the scale works, and needs adjustment
