The City of Stockton, population around 1300 is seeking 2 full time patrolmen who is career minded. A certified officer is preferred; however we will train and certify the proper candidate. The position does require shift work, nights, weekends and holidays.  The City of Stockton offers benefits including vacation pay, sick leave, various health insurances options, KPERS retirement, and a great working environment.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED

Must be 21 years of age and U.S. Citizen.

Valid Driver License with good driving record.

No felony, domestic violence or serious misdemeanor convictions

Psychological Test and Medical and Drug Screens.

KLETC certification is preferred.

No Brady or Giglio issues.

Must relocate to Stockton within reasonable time after employment.

Salary non certified candidates $14.50, certified candidates will be based on qualifications.
