The two rams we have for sale are full-blooded St. Croix, out of the same sire (pictured with the smaller lamb in the 4th image). The sire is very stoutly built. In our experience, St. Croix sheep have a large flight zone, and these are no exception.
The two rams for sale are approximately a year old, and weigh roughly 100 lbs. The one in the third picture is older than the one in the first two pictures. Both seem to be very healthy and sturdy. They are good candidates for either slaughter or breeding. We have never slaughtered our sheep, but people who have, say hair sheep at this stage process very well, with decent carcass weight and without strong-tasting meat.
