This counterfeit/replica/copy of a Brasher Doubloon was acquired in a mixed lot acquired a number of years ago from D'Atri Auctions or LaSalle County Coins in Illinois.  Impossible to value but an interesting collectable piece most likely from the 60s or 70s that was never confiscated by the treasury department.  Appears to be a copper or some other base metal that has been plated with some sort of gold-toned or brass composite, that is peeling at the upper left edge of the obverse. Has not been stamped "copy" or "replica".   Make an offer or trade.
