Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, the nation's 2nd largest retail income tax firm, is in the business of helping people. We want people who like people to join us in preparing quality income tax returns for individuals. If you have tax experience we want to hear from you. The skills that we want are: the ability to relate to people and the ability to clearly explain why a tax return has a particular result, both of which mean you should have very good analytical skills.If you have a desire to work for us and don't have tax experience but do possess the skill sets we want we will offer an unpaid tax class.

These are seasonal positions that run from January through April 18th. We are recruiting specifically for Salina, Kansas and Hays, Kansas. The skills required for this job are always marketable. Positions are ideal for stay-at-home parents, retirees, and people who already work but would like the opportunity to earn extra income. A first year preparer will earn $11.00 an hour to start. If you have experience, the pay goes up.
