I have for sale a 1980 Mercedes-benz 450SEL with the fuel injected large V8 engine. She is as clean in as she is out. Only 64713 miles, new tires, balanced and aligned. New service by European service in Hutchinson and gone through repairing and replacing any needed wear items. The only thing that I know of that doesn't work is the clock, as usual... The airconditioner is R12 and does have a slow leak that requires a can or 2 per summer. The repair shop said it is better to leave it as is than to start replacing the system to change over to 134 so I left it alone. She rides like a dream, glides down the highway. Has a retractable moon roof, original top to bottom as far as I know. Bought her for a collector but have went towards muscle cars instead. Car covered in storage and cover goes with. One of the safest cars to ride in as they are built like a tank! Either a collector or a driver your choice she is ready either way. As clean and as original as she is she would look good at a european style car show. A few extra parts do go with, air filter and a couple other items.
