Description

Vortec 350 motor mounted to a 4L60E Transmission with a 241 transfer case. Removed from a 1998 Chevy K-1500. I will not separate. The drive train, that you see in the pictures, was removed at 200,000 miles. BUT WAIT, at 130,000 miles the block and bottom end were replaced by GM due to oil pump failure. The heads were replaced at 184,000 miles "still under warranty", intake gasket, etc. done at the time of work. Every accessory, as you can tell from the picture, is newer. Everything in the front of the motor has between 30,000-50,000 miles, including the water pump, belt, tensioner and idler, a/c compressor, alternator, and power steering pump. Hermonic balancer and pulley were just done within the last 2,000 miles before removal. Transmission is a GM rebuild with 30,000 miles. Still have the warranty on transmission and heads. Transfer case and adapter have newer fluid and are regularly changed with everything else. What you see in the pictures is what you are getting. This is basically a complete drop in meaning, all lines are intact; transmission cooler lines, oil cooler lines, radiator hoses, and return lines, vacuum lines, a/c lines (a/c was pulled down before removal). All lines are capped and sealed at time of removal. All wire harnesses are intact, nothing is cut off. Comes with the computer, fuse relay box, even the leads that go to the battery and comes with the starter. All transmission and transfer case wire harnesses are intact. This was my daily driver, very well maintained. It has been in our family since 2002. I have vehicle maintenance records starting at 140,000 miles. I spared no parts or money when this truck was running. I smashed it up where the body wasn't worth fixing but the drive train was worth passing on. What you see in the pictures is what has been sitting for the last 8 months. I have been keeping it around to retro fit into an older Chevy, but I haven't found time to do that yet. So before it sits around in my shop for 2 1/2 years I need to let it go to someone who is going to use it. You could do a lot with this set up, with a $600 wire harness fitting it into a lot of older vehicles or just put it in your 96-98 K-1500 pickup. If it needs anything, maybe an oil pan seal would be the only thing I could think of. The truck was very well cared for.Cash or approved check $2,750.00. Please call or text (785)754-8235.
