2001 bay gelding, 14.1 hands but he thinks he's bigger. We've had him since he was 5. He was our stallions until we had him gelded a few years ago so my daughter could show him in 4h. She's been riding him since she was 7 (even as a stallion). He's done a little bit of everything: rodeo pageants, lead line, trail riding, and horsemanship, but mostly speed events. She used him for KWHA quite a bit 2 years ago and it made him gate sour. She gave him some time off but he still gets a little hot before he runs so I wouldn't recommend him for beginners. Will pasture rope but he gets hot in the box (I have video). Most of the time he's really laid back but when it's time to make a run in the arena he knows his job and is ready to go. I never thought we'd sell him, but my daughter bought a college barrel horse and he's just sitting. He does have an old scar on his hoof from 9 years ago but it doesn't bother him. Vet checks welcome at buyer's expense.
