The Dialysis Clinical Care Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Dialysis Unit.  The manager is responsible for providing the patient care requirements by coordinating and directing the operations for the patient care Dialysis Unit on a daily basis.  The manager will authorize in writing a qualified person to act in his/her absence.  The manager oversees and demonstrates knowledge of dialysis.  Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to develop appropriate care plan.  Provide regular in-services to keep staff informed about related topics.  Maintain appropriate departmental QA with reports as needed. 

Minimum Education:   Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Bachelors of Science Nursing preferred.

Minimum Experience:    1 year Dialysis experience in addition to 1 year nursing experience.  Previous management experience preferred but not required.

Certification:  Kansas nursing license, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
