February 24th. 6pm. The Friends of Ashland Library is hosting a fundraiser event for the purpose of remodeling. The event will start off with an award winning meal, followed by an award winning portrayal of the hit play “Steel Magnolias”. This will be an event of epic production. The menu for the evening starts off with a salad bar, followed by a ribeye steak buffet with baked potatoes, corn, green beens, roll and Champagne Cake. Cost for the evening is only $35.00 per ticket. Also, champagne glasses will be for sale for $50. Each glass will have an organza bag tied to it. Each bag will have a cubic zirconia, only one will have a .333 carat diamond worth $1200. Chances are 1:75. Doors open at 6pm at the Ashland VFW.
