The Logistics Manager shall be responsible for coordinating the outbound shipment of product with company truck drivers, third party shippers and our customers and for the inbound shipment of product transported by company truck drivers. The Logistics Manager must possess a High School diploma and have at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience including at least two (2) years of experience managing the logistics function of a manufacturing company or a company that maintains its own fleet of vehicles and truck drivers. Minimal skills, knowledge and abilities include:
Must have the ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
Must have strong negotiation skills.
Must be highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
Will be computer literate and proficient with MS office including Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be detailed orientated
