Norton County Hospital has a full time opportunity for an Infection Prevention/Quality Improvement/Employee Health Nurse.  Applicant should have knowledge of hospital epidemiology principles and will be responsible for coordination of the hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program which includes surveillance, analysis, and reporting of nosocomial infections; educating employees about infection prevention; and the development of policies and procedures to insure rigorous infection prevention standards.  This position will also manage the employee health program and participate in facility orientation of new hires.  Duties also include leading the facility-wide Quality Improvement program.  This position supports and acts as a resource to Administration, Medical Staff, and all hospital services.  Application qualifications include current Kansas Registered Nurse license and 5 years of experience as an RN. Candidate with BSN or enrolled in BSN program is preferred.
