Thunder is a grade flea bitten grey gelding.  He stands 14 hands and is a stout horse.  We use him to round up cattle, trail ride, and horse 4H.  We were beginning to rope so he has been exposed to a swinging rope.  He has a great stop, knows voice comands for walk, trot, lope, and stop.  He can side pass and is beginning to understand piviots and flying lead changes.  He does not buck or run off.  If he is nervous he does back away.  We bathe, clip, deworm and give shots with little hassel.  He stands for the farrier and has nice hooves. My 14 year old son was riding him for horse 4H but has decided he is too busy with sports for horses.  I am comfortable with younger kids trail riding him but if you want a preformance out of him a more confident rider will be needed.
