Job Summary
As a Driver at the Good Samaritan Society, you'll help shuttle residents and clients to activities, events, appointments and more in a collaborative healthcare setting with a faith-based mission.

What you'll do: Your job is an important one, helping our residents arrive at their destination safely and on time. For the most part, you'll work as a courteous steward to ensure safe, on-time arrival of residents. You will maintain a clean vehicle, following all state and local traffic laws and document trips. You'll assist residents into and out of the vehicle, and ensure that they're properly secured. At times, you will be called on to assist with an activity.

Qualifications
Prior experience with frail elderly and driving a vehicle; paid or volunteer experience or leading group activities helpful. Must have a valid driver's license, and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report. Must be at least 18 years of age; 21 years of age to operate a Society Class B or C DOT regulated vehicle.  Ability to communicate and comprehend.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is highly preferred.  Employee will also be responsible for auditing, ordering, and stocking of supplies.
