Natoma Manufacturing Corporation in Norton, KS is looking for a Human Resources & Accounting Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for the effective, consistent coordination and implementation of Human Resources business processes, financial and accounting functions, and administration of benefits and payroll; while ensuring legal compliance as it relates to benefits, payroll and HR related functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Provide leadership in coordinating the activities of the Human Resources department to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and making sure that all the Human Resources Management Systems are set up accordingly.
  • Ensure consistent administration of human resources policies, and make recommendations on policy development.
  • Participates in human resources strategy development and execution, aligning daily operations, HR technology, and analytics with the organization's strategic direction.
  • Manage required HR record keeping including personnel files, government filings, and other essential employee record retention requirements.
  • Manage the financial and accounting activities including AR, AP, creating financial statements, tax compliance, and recording financial data.
  • Manage and administer all benefits programs including but not limited to Health, Dental, 401k, Life and ensure regulatory compliance with all activities.
  • Act as liaison between supplemental insurance provider; assisting with necessary communications, enrollment, reporting, billing, and provider/client relations.
  • Ensure timely reconciliation and payment of weekly and monthly benefits program invoices
  • Facilitate the strategic planning of the company offering of all Benefit programs and participate in annual policy renewals.
  • Answers employee questions concerning benefits; refers to various resources for information as needed.
  • Manage annual open enrollment process.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of payroll functions.
  • Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Education:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

·         At least two years of Human Resources and/or Accounting experience preferred.
