This is a beautiful circa1881 Bush & Gerts upright grand piano that has been restored. It has Birds Eye Maple veneer over solid mahogany and has all been refinished. The action has been redone with new bridles on the hammers and also has four of the hammers fixed on the tips as they needed it. The action and the keys were all redone by the piano technician that you see on the card. The keys have all been leveled and the damaged ivory replaced with ivory keys purchased from the piano tech. Yes, this piano has solid ivory keys throughout. All of the mechanics on this piano are in working order. It will need to be tuned as it has not been tuned or played in a long while. The bench is not the original bench but it is functional. The bench has tiger oak wood and the books in the bench are included in the sale. I have taken a picture of the bracing under the piano and the sound board so that you can see it is in very good condition. The music cradle is a rendition of the one that my cousins had on their piano and is a lot more sturdy. I fashioned it as closely as I could to an original cradle from that era. All the bumpers and felt on the cabinet have been replaced. It is a beauty and needs a piano player to enjoy her music. There are more pictures on the NW Kansas Craigslist listing under the same heading. Will accept a reasonable offer.
