Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems Geriatric Special Care Unit has a Full Time Registered Nurse Manager position open.  Hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, with on-call rotation. 

The Geriatric Special Care Unit of Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems offers a comprehensive program designed to meet the diverse mental health needs of older adults. A multidisciplinary treatment team consisting of nurses, social workers, and activity therapists work together to provide appropriate, high quality acute care for every patient.

The registered nurse provides clinical and administrative support to the unit. The RN performs therapeutic measures prescribed and delegated by the physician. Participates in patient education and rehabilitation and provides interpretation of treatment to the patient and the patient's family. The RN coordinates unit activities and assures accountability of all assigned tasks.

Qualifications:
Must possess at least an academic diploma in nursing and be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in Kansas.
