The role of Service Parts Associate will be to assist in the determination of parts requirements with customers and internal company needs, proactively sell parts, provide order processing services and maintain accurate parts inventory. This individual will be expected to support our business plan in order to achieve department goals. Service Parts Associates must uphold the company's standards and philosophies of integrity, work ethic and quality results.

Job Responsibilities:

Service Parts Associate assignments at Wilkens Manufacturing, Inc., include but are not limited to:
•Servicing parts counter to fill customer orders and determine their needs
•Ship and receive parts orders when needed
•Maintain organization of parts storage to ensure accuracy of inventory
•Develop customer loyalty through order performance and ongoing contact
•Consistently promote parts specials in store, over the phone and through email contact
•Perform courtesy calls to customers
•Perform all work in a safe manner and keep parts department clean and free of hazards
•Participate in continuous training on product knowledge and customer service skills
•Ensure activities are performed in accordance with company, vendor and customer policies and procedures

Competencies Required:
•Excellent listening, communicating, and customer relations skills; ability to deal with customer objections in a professional manner
•High sense of urgency and commitment to timely customer follow-up
•Parts retail experience in trailers or related field beneficial but not required.
•Product knowledge including features and benefits knowledge of all commodities sold
•Attention to detail and accuracy
•Ability to perform physical duties associated with the procurement and distribution of parts
•High school diploma or GED
•Valid driver's license
•Commitment to ongoing learning and personal growth for self and team
