The Kansas Legislature of 1969 was the country's first state legislature to decriminalize abortion.  But every abortion, no matter how it occurs, takes the life of a human being.  Join other concerned Kansans in praying that the 2019 legislature will respond to the horror of the last fifty years with bold action to guarantee the inalienable rights, equal protection and due process of law of every human being from the beginning of the biological development of that human being, including fertilization.  Personal prayer novenas for this intention begin January 5 in preparation for the state legislature convening January 14.
