We have a beef for sale, ready for processing. $2.00/ lb. We had three on feed for 4 different families,but the first  two filled our freezers, so this one is for sale. The steer was on feed for 150 days and delivered to South Fork Meat Processing, Ness City, on Feb.6.  We normally let ours chill for 3 to 4 weeks (aging increases tenderness), but it could be processed anytime, your choice.  The carcass weighs 1080 lbs. and should grade high choice. The steer was  a Black Angus and just 22 months old, again increasing meat quality. The current market price is $2.00/lb. You will also pay South Fork for processing or you can pick it up and process it yourself and only pay South Fork for their kill charges.  We will sell either a half or the whole carcass or you can combine with several other families. 1/2 will fill the average upright freezer.  High quality meat at less than grocery store prices.
