Commodity distribution will be held in WaKeeney on Tuesday, July 23rd, at the Senior Center, 413 Russell Ave, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.  The monthly income guideline is $1354 for a one person household and $479 added for each additional family member.  Available are canned items:  corn, mixed fruit, peaches, Garbanzo beans, and canned pork.  Also available are dried Great North beans, dry lentils, brown rice, peanut butter, potato flakes, fresh grapes and apples and roasted pistachios in the shell.   If someone else is picking up your food, you must send a signed proxy form or a signed personal note with that person indicating the food is for you.  Distributions are made possible by the Kansas Department for Children and Families and local volunteers.
