The Mackie S408 Precision Passive 2-Way Loudspeaker with Tetrad provides high output and high-quality sound worthy of large audiences yet suitable for smaller, more intimate settings.

Tetrad Driver Alignment Technology uses four low-frequency drivers which respond to transient attacks faster than a single woofer. They also move a larger column of air so you get a more dynamic bass sound. Tetrad also uses a big horn assembly to better control the midrange signals and stabilize them through the crossover for a superior sonic image.

  With four 8" LF drivers in Tetrad's unique alignment, you get wide low-frequency dispersion and enhanced transient response.
• HF Driver
  With a 1" exit HF driver attached to an oversized 75 x 40° horn you get amazing coverage and high-frequency definition. And, as a bonus, with two vertically arrayed enclosures you get full 150° coverage.
