The City of Russell is seeking professional and community oriented individuals for a full-time Parks Department Maintenance Worker.

This position includes the general maintenance and upkeep of public grounds within the City as well as maintenance/repair of equipment and structures. The employee will be provided on-the-job training with opportunities for certification and continuing education. Applicant for this position must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. and have a valid Driver’s License with the ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License, with airbrake endorsement test, within 6 months of employment. Applicants must also establish residency in Russell County 6 months from hire date. Pre-employment drug screening and job placement assessment are required.
