Up for sale is my 1988 1/2 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4 that is a 6.2 Detroit diesel with an ATS turbo charger kit. The actual mileage is unknown, assuming the odometer has only rolled over once it is somewhere in the 156k mile range. It runs like a top, fires every time and once she's warmed up she purrs like a kitten. Turbo works as it should, it's not a power house but it has no problem dragging it's 3 ton self around. 3 of 4 tires are new 31x10.50 all terrains, it has a new starter, new alternator and I chased wire gremlins this last winter to make sure blinkers and parking lamps worked. Now for the bad, it got water in the transmission and the 700r4 that is in it either needs repaired or replaced, I have another rebuildable 700r4/np208 that will go with the truck. The power windows work, even the one in the tailgate. The power locks not so much, nor does the cruise control work. I was averagine close to 18mpg on the highway with this old girl when I had her on the road but I need to part with it as I am planning on moving and also want to finish my AMC project.
