The brush holders were defective from the factory, I didn't realize what was going on until warranty was over. New brushes and the holders can be bought for about $30 if you want to fix it,  or use it for parts to fix another saw.  

I only put 3 blades on it, just started the 4th,  so it's low hour use.  It looks a bit rough because it lived on my welding truck.
