Craftsman Model #917.28858 - YT3000 42" Cut Lawn tractor

Standard features - 540 CC 21 Horsepower Briggs and Stratton "Platinum series" premium engine, hydrostatic drive, electric start, mower-deck washout port, easy change oil system. Tractors best feature is the "Tight Turn 8" turning radius. This helps it maneuver into tighter areas, and better around trees, etc. Mower also has automatic mow in reverse feature.

Accessories included - mulching kit with new (high lift) Sears premium mulching blades, heavy duty front bumper, and a NEW two bag grass catcher system that I purchased just last year (only used twice).

Mower details - Mower always cleaned after use, stored in garage, oil and filters changed three times a year. Frequently greased front steering linkage.

Last year at end of the season I replaced both mower deck drive belts, purchased a new battery, had a rear axle seal replaced and the transmission fluid changed. this month I thouroughly cleaned mower, changed oil, oil filter, air filter, greased, and set timing on valves. While doing this I discovered a deck spindle issue. I had a new spindle installed at D&D mower service in Derby.

I have all paperwork, manuals, etc on this mower. It has no rust, runs great, has one small tear on seat, other wise is guaranteed as clean as you will find. I am retired now, and got a great price on a much heavier duty garden tractor on a labor day sale. I am entertaining picking up a few mower and landscaping jobs next summer.
