Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital - Dietary department is looking for a Full-time Cook

COOK

  • 1 full-time position available

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

  • Some weekends & holidays required

  • Hours 11:00am – 8:00pm

  • Prepares, seasons, and cooks food that is palatable and attractive to meet all diet types.

  • Ensures meals and nourishments are ready at specified times.

  • Maintains high standards of sanitation, housekeeping, and safety in operation and care of equipment.

  • Serves patients and residents according to their diets and requests.

  • Follows standardized recipes using appropriate utensils and equipment. 

  • Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments. 

Position Overview

Under the direct supervision of the Foodservice Manager and Dietician, the cook will prepare, season, and cook for patients, residents, staff and visitors.
