Hunsaker Drum Smoker. Gloss black. Steel drum painted with high temp paint and sealed with ceramic clear coat. ALL other parts, pieces and hardware are stainless steel except the thermometer holder so a magnetic thermometer can stick.
Air intake is on the bottom of the drum, directly under the coal basket and is foot operated. The lid is on a floating hinge and just stands up, you don't have to pull it off and find a place to put it.
Large rear wheels and a locking front caster. Very easy to move around, load, pull up steps and stabilize.
Run time on a 3/4 - 7/8 full basket of Kingsford Blue charcoal with 2 - 4 wood chunks is averaging 12 hours at 300 degrees or less (never cooked anything over 300...usually 250-275 range). Once you get your routine down it is as easy to operate as a pellet smoker and you can walk away.
The picture of the charcoal basket/vortex plate are when they were clean. They look like a seasoned smoker should look now. Outside of Smoker looks brand new.
I have an orange lid and a competition name plate that are included. Name plate is bare and can be painted any color.
$600 or REASONABLE offer (retail is $800). Smoker is a 9 month old demo.
