I've had this revolver for quite awhile (note the "Read Owner's Manual" on the side rather than its current position underneath the barrel), but have shot it very seldom. Can't find the box. These now come with a stainless ejector rod housing, but I added one after-market years ago.
Comes with the following extras: buffalo horn grips from Eagle that give a far better purchase on the gun than the thin factory stocks, Belt Mountain Enterprises cylinder base pin in the Elmer Keith hourglass style, Wolff reduced power hammer spring (installed), and Ruger factory holster (a Triple K "Carrylite") made specifically for this 4" gun. Action is crisp. I have never dry fired it. Ever. I put a teeny dab of Krylon red-orange sight paint on the front sight which can easily be removed with a fingernail.
Only "issue" is that there is the very start of a split at the bottom of the left horn stock, which is often the case (it does not nearly go through to the gripframe--see photo), since the horn is made of hair. Very nice streaking on these grips and they are hard to find in that appearance. The grip material itself is becoming very hard to find.
These are right at $600 NIB out the door from an internet purchase, including shipping and fees. The holster, spring, base pin, and especially the grips add close to $200 to the cost of this gun if you were to try to duplicate it. All original parts included.
