RANS Designs is now hiring for our Packaging Department. This position is full/part time. In our Packaging Department, you will be responsible for assisting with the picking and packaging process of aircraft kits and/or parts orders.

Responsibilities: 

• Pick, weigh, package, and label aircraft parts for orders and/or aircraft kits
• Accurately record and check off parts as they are picked and packaged
• Maintain a clean work area
• Properly and safely use packaging materials such as tape, staples, scissors, etc.
• Communicating with your supervisor to ensure the correct parts are being picked, while addressing any concerns/questions you may have
• Perform validation of pack lists to ensure order picking accuracy, i.e. correct quantities

Skills/Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Certification preferred, but not required
• Relevant experience working in a related field
• Basic math and computer application skills, i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel, e-mail and postage software, etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Capable of lifting up to 80 pounds
• Basic knowledge or experience in working with manufactured products and assemblies is a plus
• Good organizational and communication skills
